Dear friends,

 

Since the afternoon hours of this Monday, members of the CTM (Workers Confederation of Mexico) have maintained numerous blockings across the state. Members of the CTM demand the release of one of their leaders who is currently detained.

 

As a result, the transport towards and within city of Oaxaca has been affected in the following ways:

 

Yellow cabs in the city center and surroundings have reduced their activities 

 

The following transport services have been suspended:

  • Choferes del Sur

  • Guelatao

  • TUCDOSA

  • Urbanos de Oaxaca

  • Autobuses foráneos de los Valles Centrales

  • La línea de Autobuses de Oriente (ADO)

  • Fletes y Pasajes 

  • Oaxaca Istmo

  • SUR

  • OCC

  • AU

The transport and CTM (Workers Confederation of Mexico) has announced blocking in the following areas of the Central Valley of Oaxaca:

  • Airport

  • Crucero de La Experimental

  • Periferico 

  • Highway 190

  • San Jacinto Amilpas Bridge

  • Tollbooth CAPPUFE

  • Courts of Santa <María Ixcotel

  • Crossroad de Viguera

  • Riberas de Atoyac, crossroad el Tecnológico

  • Statue of Benito Juarez

  • Federal Highway 190, close to the military area

Please be patient if you are still traveling as your arrival to the venue may take longer than expected. We'd also like to ask you to please keep away from the areas where the strike is taking place to avoid any percances. If the strike were to change any of the logistics of the event we'll let you know as soon as possible.
