10:00 -15:00 A walk along the Camino Real which connects the community of Latuvi to Amatlan. This is a portion of one of the longest pre-Hispanic routes that is believed to have linked Zapotecan cities of the Central Valleys with the Gulf of Mexico. Along the route, you will see vestiges of the original stone road still in excellent condition. Part of the trail will take you to the river bank where you will cross a canyon. Throughout the walk you will be able to observe examples of the wonderful biological diversity of the Sierra Norte (bromeliads, trees with moss and figures carved in rock by nature)
